Ownership Statement

1. Platform Ownership

FBR E-Invoicing is a proprietary software platform owned and operated by its registered owners. All rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, including but not limited to the software, source code, databases, logos, designs, documentation, and associated intellectual property, are the exclusive property of FBR E-Invoicing.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

2.1 Copyright

The FBR E-Invoicing platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws of Pakistan and international treaties. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.

2.2 Trademarks

“FBR E-Invoicing” and associated logos are trademarks of the platform owners. These trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

2.3 Software

The platform software is proprietary and confidential. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the platform as a service. No rights to the underlying software are transferred to users.

4. User Data Ownership

While the platform and its technology are owned by FBR E-Invoicing, users retain full ownership of their business data, including:

• Invoice records and associated documents
• Customer databases and contact information
• Business financial records and reports
• FBR submission history and responses

Users may export their data at any time through the platform’s export features. Upon account termination, users have 30 days to request a complete data export.

5. Third-Party Components

The platform uses certain open-source libraries and third-party services, each governed by their respective licenses. These include:

• FBR DI API: Integration with Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue for invoice submission
• SafePay: Payment processing for subscription management
• Zoho Mail: Transactional email delivery

The use of FBR’s name and logos is solely for the purpose of describing the integration and does not imply endorsement or affiliation with FBR beyond the standard API partnership.

6. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted in our Terms of Service are reserved by FBR E-Invoicing. No license or right is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise under any intellectual property rights of FBR E-Invoicing.
